主讲人简介：美国密歇根大学博士，加拿大西门菲莎（Simon Fraser）大学希腊研究中心副教授，中心代主任。他著有Serving Byzantium’s Emperors和Michael Attaleiates and the Politics of Imperial Decline in Eleventh-Cenyury Byzantium等学术专著，并发表过多篇具有影响力的学术论文，是国际知名的青年拜占庭史学家。
