讲座人介绍：夏伯嘉，美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学讲席教授、台湾“中研院”院士，享誉国际的宗教改革史、耶稣会史和中西交流史家。著有《特伦托1475：一场血祭谋杀审判》《天主教世界的复兴运动，1540-1770》《利玛窦：紫禁城里的耶稣会士》Social Discipline in the Reformation: Centra Europe 1550-1750、Noble Patronage and Jesuit Missions: Maria Theresiavon Fugger-Wellenburg（1690-1762）and Jesuit Missionaries in China and Vietnam等，主编有《剑桥基督教史（第六卷）：宗教改革与扩张，1500-1660》、A Companion to Early Modern Catholic Global Missions.Le Dictionnaire des Jésuites、Blackwell Companion to the World of theReformation等，并参与了美国大学经典教材如The Making of the WestPeoples and Cultures、The Challenge of the West：Peoples and Culturesfrom the Stone Age to the Global Age等的撰写。
